Privacy policy

The short version

Zeckly does not collect your data. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything you log — profiles, bites, photos, removal records — stays on your phone. If you uninstall Zeckly, that data is gone with it.

What Zeckly stores on your device

None of this leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it (Zeckly Full feature) and share the file yourself.

What Zeckly does not collect

Cloud backup (Zeckly Full only)

If you purchase Zeckly Full and enable cloud auto-backup, the app writes your data to:

We do not have a Zeckly server in the middle. Your cloud provider is your relationship, not ours.

In-app purchase

If you purchase Zeckly Full, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. Zeckly receives a receipt token from the platform indicating the purchase is valid; this token is stored locally on your device and contains no personal information beyond what Apple or Google decide to include. Refunds and billing are handled by the store, not by us.

Children

Zeckly is designed for adults managing their own and their household members' tick-bite history. The app does not require children to create accounts or enter personal information. Parents using Zeckly to track a child's bites should treat this data as they would any private health information.

Data deletion

You can delete any individual record, any profile, or all data in Zeckly's Settings. Uninstalling the app removes all locally-stored data including any photos. If you have cloud auto-backup enabled, you can additionally delete the backup file from your cloud provider.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, the next app update will surface the change in-app and require your acknowledgement before continuing. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change.
